Format:

No. of participants per team: Upto 3

Eligibility: Open

Schedule: 7 November 2022 00:00:01 to November 9 2022 23:59:59.

You would need to properly formulate a team with students versed in Game development, Asset creation and Audio Production. You are free to use any tools or libraries.

Use of any freely available assets like textures, materials, 3d models, audio etc is allowed but creating your own assets will give you extra points. You will need to share the source files for the custom assets(models, audio etc) to be eligible for them.

Topic:

The topic for Unreality 2022 is retro.

For clarification, there is no restriction on the art style of your game,

Instructions:

Each team will have a span of 3 days’ time to create a game from scratch on the provided topic. The games would be scored on the basis of:

• Originality
• Gameplay
• Audio
• Visuals

It goes without saying that any sort of plagiarism will not be tolerated and your whole team may get disqualified from all events for it. Original art/models and music will be appreciated and will fetch extra points.

Submission:

You will be uploading the executable files, screenshots, self made 3d/2d assets and Audio files on the given itch.io jam link. The judging will take place afterwards.

Ownership:

Your game belongs to you. Exun Clan claims no rights or ownership of your game.

Pitching:

We’ll be releasing the list of finalists on 10th November. You’ll be presenting your games to the judges the next day. Each team will have 10 minutes to demo their game. Feel free to use any tools you’re familiar with to communicate your idea in the pitch.
