Theme: Unusual Gravity

Time

The game jam will run between 29th May 9am Saturday to 30th May 6pm Sunday.

Teams are allowed or you can participate solo, but the maximum team size is three. If you would like to work in a team but cannot find anyone, there maybe other people looking to form a team at Saturday 9am.

The deadline of submission is 30th May 6pm Sunday.

Rules

• No NSFW Games.
• No offensive/hateful content.
• The game must be playable on PC.
• Only use assets you are licensed to use.
• No paid assets.
• Any game engine is allowed, as long as you are able to submit it as an executable on PC.

Submission

Please submit your game as an executable through Itch.io and send the link to Al (Sylux) on Discord who will then compose the list of games.

Please add:

• Game Name.
• Team name (if applicable) and name of the participants.
• A description of your game.

This description will be visible on Itch.io by other people when shared in the GDS announcements and Video Game Society announcements.

Showcase

A showcase event will run at 6pm-7pm Monday where everyone will take turns showcasing their game.

Judging

After the submission deadline, the games will be showcased then be publicly voted anonymously, the voting will start at 31st May 7pm Monday ending at 4th June 6pm Friday.

The winner will be announced at 4th June 7pm Friday.

There will be 3 categories for voting.

• Best Overall Game
• Most Innovative Game
• Best Adaptation Of The Theme

Awards

The winning team/person will gain unique Discord roles for being the winner of the first Game Jam and a special mention on social media and Discord announcements.
