Have an interest in gaming? Want to get an inside look at what it takes to create a video game? Have an interest creating your very own video game? The University of New Haven’s Spooky Game Jam is for you!

Join us for an immersive hybrid experience from October 28th - October 30th!

This is a FREE experience! All you have to do is pre-register by October 26th. Game Jam is open to all current University of New Haven students as well as high school students and their parents or teachers. For current University of New Haven students, we have a dedicated room that will be open during these dates for you to get together, and work in an in person collaborative environment. For non-current students, we will be holding a Discord where you are able to get together and work in an online collaborative environment. Whether you are a current or non-current student, please join the Discord upon registration, as this will be our main communication channel.

Game Jam participants spend 48 hours trying their hand at creating a video game. This experience was made with first-timers in mind. We provide many resources and outlets for both beginners and experienced programmers! We know that a lot of students have a passion for games and that they are searching for fun, interactive projects. Game Jam is just that. This time around, we are centering around Halloween, and will be providing a dedicated theme on the day the Game Jam begins.

Those who sign up will also get the chance to hear presentations from game industry professionals and other gaming experts.
