Event Overview
Join us for an exciting, collaborative, and competitive game jam that brings together talented students from eight prestigious universities around the globe! This event is a unique opportunity to connect, create, and showcase your game development skills on an international stage.
Important Dates
- Registration Deadline: until 23:59 (GMT-3) of September 25, 2025
- Theme Announcement: at 00:00 (GMT-3) of September 26, 2025
- Game Jam Period: from September 26 to October 3, 2025
- Submission Deadline: 23:59 (GMT-3) of October 3, 2025
Participation Details
- Who Can Join? Current students from the participating universities.
- Teams: Form teams of 3-5 members. Teams are encouraged to have diverse roles such as programmer, artist, designer, and sound designer, but this is not mandatory. However, it is mandatory to have at least one member from a university other than your own. In case you need help finding a member from other universities, contact us and we will help you. There is also a text channel called searching-for-teams that may be helpful.
- Theme: The theme will be revealed on September 6, 2024, to ensure everyone starts with the same inspiration!
Submission Guidelines
- Platform: Submissions must be made through itch.io.
- Format: Upload your game as a playable file (Windows, macOS, or web-based) along with a short description, screenshots, and a gameplay video (optional but recommended).
- Assets: You are encouraged to create original assets during the jam, but third-party assets are allowed as long as they are credited properly.
Judging Criteria
Games will be judged by the participants based on the following criteria:
- Originality: How unique and creative the game concept is.
- Adherence to Theme: How well the game adheres to the announced theme.
- Gameplay: The fun factor and engagement of the game.
- Art and Sound: The quality and cohesiveness of the visual and audio elements.
- Technical Achievement: The complexity and execution of the technical aspects.
Prizes
- Awards: Each university is responsible for awarding their own participants.
- Recognition: All participants will receive certificates of participation.
Community and Support
- Discord Server: Join our Discord server(https://discord.gg/h4U3PMcrqE) to communicate with other participants, form teams, and get support during the jam.
- Discord Server Profile Naming: Please, put your first name/Nickname and then your University.(Name - University) I.e: Eric - Xamk

Detalhes para participação
- Quem pode participar? Alunos em atividade das universidades participantes.
- Equipes: Forme equipes de 3 a 5 membros. As equipes devem incluir pelo menos um participante das outras instituições.
- Tema: Será revelado no dia 6 de Setembro de 2024, para garantir que todos comecem com a mesma inspiração!
Diretrizes para envio
- Platforma: Os envios precisam ser feitos via itch.io.
- Formato: Faça upload do seu jogo como um arquivo jogável (para Windows, macOS, ou baseado em web), e com uma breve descrição, capturas de tela e um vídeo de gameplay (opcional, mas recomendado).
- Recursos: Você é encorajado a criar recursos novos durante a jam, mas recursos de terceiros podem ser utilizados, desde que creditados de maneira apropriada.
Critérios de Julgamento
Os jogos vão ser julgados baseando-se nos seguintes critérios:
- Originalidade: Quão único e criativo é o conceito do jogo.
- Aderência ao Tema: Quão bem o jogo adere ao tema anunciado.
- Jogabilidade: O fator diversão e o engajamento com o jogo.
- Arte e Som: A qualidade e coerência dos elementos visuais e sonoros.
- Técnica: A complexidade e execução dos aspectos técnicos.
Prêmios
- Cada universidade ficará encarregada de premiar seus próprios estudantes;
- Os participantes receberão certificado de participação.
Comunidade e Suporte
- Servidor do Discod: Junte-se ao nosso servidor do Discord (Link) para se comunicar com outros participantes, formar equipes, e obter suporte durante a jam.
- Nome no servidor do Discord: Por favor, coloque seu nome ou apelido, e então informe a sua universidade (Name - University). Exemplo: Tuka - Univali
