The Universal University Game Jam is a fully online collaboration between game development clubs from several universities! We have students from Michigan State, University of Michigan, Miami University, University of Utah and Michigan Tech!
The jam will run for one week, from the 13th to the 20th of July. Jammers are heavily encouraged to partner up with students from other universities, and the Discord is the perfect place to form or join teams. We'll also also have industry talks and social events during the week long duration!
Rules:
- No Mature Content: Aim for your games to be PG-13 maximum. Avoid Mature rated content - if you wouldn't show it to your grandmother, don't make it!
- Disclose AI Art: If your game uses AI generated art or audio in any capacity, please disclose that! We can tell when assets are AI made!
- Give Credit: If you use external assets, art, audio, free or paid, please cite that in the description!
Theme
The theme for the game jam is Signals! Games will be partially rated based on theme adherence by your peers, so following it is important!
Extras
After the jam ends, you'll have 2 days to play and rate other submissions by other groups. You'll also be able to comment on games, and we encourage you to do both!
