Welcome to Uncomfortable Interface Jam.

This is not a normal game jam. This is an experiment. A test of patience. A quiet psychological challenge disguised as a UI problem.

In this jam, the interface is intentionally uncomfortable, confusing, annoying, misleading, or subtly wrong — on purpose.

Buttons may lie.
Sliders may behave incorrectly.
Menus may feel hostile, cold, or untrustworthy.

The interface is not your tool.
The interface is your enemy.

The UI is part of the challenge.
It’s not broken. It’s designed that way.

Players should feel uncomfortable.
Slightly lost.
Unsure if what they are doing is correct.

You can use any engine, any style, and any platform. Horror, comedy, experimental, abstract — everything is allowed, as long as the interface itself creates tension.

Example:
A volume bar that is vertical, extremely thin, and increases by moving to the right instead of up.
A menu option that moves when you try to click it.
A confirmation button that looks disabled but isn’t.

Esta no es una game jam normal.
Es un experimento.
Una prueba de paciencia.
Un desafío psicológico disfrazado de diseño.

En esta jam, la interfaz es intencionalmente incómoda, confusa, molesta o engañosa — a propósito.

Botones que no dicen la verdad.
Barras que no responden como deberían.
Menús que generan desconfianza.

La interfaz no es tu aliada.
La interfaz es parte del horror.

La UI es parte del desafío.
No está rota. Está diseñada así.

El jugador debe sentirse incómodo.
Perdido por momentos.
Dudando constantemente de sus acciones.

Se puede usar cualquier motor, cualquier estilo y cualquier plataforma. Terror, humor negro, experimental o abstracto: todo es válido mientras la interfaz provoque tensión.

Ejemplo:
Una barra de volumen vertical, extremadamente delgada, que sube moviéndose hacia la derecha.
Un botón de salir que no quiere dejarte ir.
Una opción que parece segura… pero no lo es.
