Unbound Jam For Unbound Passionates!

A special event for Unbound Game Studio members. We will have fun, play, code and draw together.
Be a developer, artist, designer, or ... doesn't matter. Bring your ideas to reality (em... game) and show others what you can do!

How to participate?

• Create a itch.io account if you don't have and login.
• Click the "Join jam" on this page.
  

How to submit my game?

• When your game is ready, click on "Submit your project".
  

• If you haven't created your game page before, click on "Upload game".
  
  • This opens a new page which is called "Project page".
  • Upload your game and fill required info.
  • At the bottom of the page, under the "Visibility & access", mark it as "Public".
  • Click on "Save & view page" to create your project.
    
  • Come back to the game jam's page and click on "Submit your project" again.
• If you have created your game before, choose it from the drop-down.
• Fill in the info of your game.
• Click on "Submit".
  

• Your game is now submitted. Wait for the final judgement!

How to update my game?  :{

Don't worry. You can change and upload your game how many times you want, before the submission deadline.

How the game jam proceeds?

• The opening is held on 2022-July-05 at 10:00  in cosmos.
• Game jam starts on 2022-July-05 at 11:00 and 3 themes will be announced.
• Code, draw, drink, think and enjoy for 53 hours.
• Game jam ends on 2022-July-07 at 16:00.
• Judges check the games and determine the winners.
• The closing is held on 2022-July-07 at 16:00.
• Winners will be announced on 2022-July-09 at 10:00.

Rules

• Make a hyper casual themed game in anyway you want.
• You can use any code or asset you want.
• You can attend individually or as a team. 2 members is the ideal and any bigger, it just slows you down.
• You can make the game for any platform. Just something playable.
• Upload a video of your game play for 0.5-2 minutes maximum.
• Choose one or some of the announced game jam themes and let your imagination go wild.
• Have fun!

FAQ

• I got a problem, what should I do? Contact us in telegram, cosmos or anywhere you want. We try to be available during the game jam time unless we fall asleep ;)
• How do we join as a team? First, all team members join the jam. Second, one of you create the project in the itch.io and add others as the admins:
  • Open your project (game) page and click on "Edit game".
    
  • Click on "More->Admins".
    
  • Add your teammates' profile url or usernames as admins. This way, they also have the game in their account and can modify it.
    
  • Additionally, if you specify your teammates in the project or submission description, it's very valuable.
  • Finally, just one of your teammates should submit the game to the game jam.
• How do I add/upload gameplay video to my game? You have 4 options:
  • 1- Put your game and your video in the same folder, zip and upload them.
  • 2- Or if your video is in Youtube or Vimeo, in your project (game) page, specify link to your video.
    
  • 3- Or if you have link to your video in other places, in your project (game) page, specify it as an external file.
    
  • 4- Or include your video link in the game details in your project (game) page.
