The Mid Semester Jam Theme is Spellcasting!
Welcome to the University of Melbourne Game Maker's Club Mid Semester Game Jam!
The Mid Semester Game Jam is a 5-day game jam with hybrid (online / in-person) participation. The game jam will run from the 17th (Thursday) to the 22nd (Tuesday) of April. Participants will submit their own themes, which will be voted on online and randomly selected during the Opening Ceremony. After the jam closes, participants will have one week to submit reviews of other games, to pick a community-voted winner.
The theme will be announced at the opening ceremony and posted both here and on our discord announcements.
Rules:
- Both individual and team entries are accepted
- Any art and audio assets can be used, as long as you have a legal right to use them.
- Any game engine can be used.
- Games must follow the theme (at least loosely). You will be marked on this relation.
- Game and systems must be made within jam conditions (code written after the start date).
- Videogames are preferred, but tabletop games are allowed.
- If you are found cheating (including tampering with ratings) you will be disqualified.
Voting:
- Once the deadline passes, submissions will be ranked by players based on the given criteria.
