Welcome to the UMD Spring 2025 Game Jam page!

Here you can find all the necessary information for success during your jamming period!

Entry Requirements:

To participate in any UMD Game Dev Club Game Jam, you must be one of the following:

  •  A current UMD Student 
  •  An alumni of UMD
  •  Over the age of 18 and on a team with at least one UMD student/alumni

Themes:

SPECIAL THREE THEME GAME JAM!!!

  1. Hallucinations 
  2. Gambling
  3. Death is Useful

Feel free to use either a single theme, or a combination of them. I’d be interesting to see how people do who work with all three!

Rules:

  • You are free to build your game with any engine or tool that you wish to use
  • You are free to use any assets you find online assuming you have the right to use them (check the license!)
  • Your final game must run either on Windows or in the Browser (without requiring any additional dependencies).
  • No NSFW content
  • No Micro-transactions
  • No App Dev Club slander (sorry)
