Welcome to UBGD'S Glorp Jam!

...whatever that entails

UB Game Dev's Glorp Jam is the second jam being hosted on the UBGD itch.io account, and the first of the spring semester. A prompt will be given at 6:30 PM EST on 4/17, then contestants will have a week to make a game! The jam will conclude on 4/24 at 6:30PM EST, and finished submissions will be presented.

This jam is unranked, meaning there is no winner or voting process. This jam is just to have fun... collaboration over competition!

THEME: REVERSE A TROPE

BONUS PARAMETERS: LOSE TO WIN, FINALE FIRST, POWER-DOWNS, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?, GENRE FAKEOUT, NO PLAYABLE CHARACTER, JUST KEEPS GOING, MINIMALISM, LIMIT YOUR PERCEPTION 

RULES

1. Your project should relate to the provided theme somehow. You can interpret the theme however you want - physically, metaphorically, whatever inspires you!

2. An itch.io account is not required to participate in the jam. You do not need to join UBGD's itch.io page to participate in the jam. But if you want to publish your project, then an itch.io account is needed to join!

3. Games can't be worked on until the theme is announced. This may be a laid-back jam, but the joy comes from the challenge!

4. Use common sense when making your game! This may not be Halloween anymore so I can't do the same transition as before, but that being said,  please don't make anything that will traumatize everyone during presentations or get our club de-recognized.

EXTRA

- There are no rules on team size, structure, or how many you can join. Be a part of as many projects as you like!

- When you upload your project, there are no legal restraints. UBGD nor UB owns your game or the ideas behind it!
