For National Poetry & Literature Month, we're hosting a casual online game jam! ✍️
Join us for Twinery of Tales as we combine code, poetry, and the arts. Whether it's a haiku, moving stanzas, or an entire fiction narrative -- build your words together on twinery.org or your own hypertext website (or any similar platforms) and share them with the world.
Build with us @ develo.ph/discord and see the Facebook event @ https://www.facebook.com/events/2287218361517285/
We can't wait to see your words and work! ✨📍#NaPoWriMo #TwineryOfTales
FAQ
What should I use to make my game?
We recommend Twinery.org as the most accessible one -- but you can use anything you want as long as it combines code and literature! Consider handcoding a website, making a living poem on Github, or making a Twitter bot... It's up to you on how code-y you want it to be. It can be more technical or more focused on the content, but remember that the biggest criteria is the literature itself so make sure it comes across effectively in the platform you choose!
Why are you doing this
We had a lot of fun with our first Mental Health Hacks jam back before, and we want to celebrate creation again. :)
