Ancient stories and folklore are getting lost forever, also in Twente. 

With Tweeduuster, we want to offer people a way to experience these stories, to make them feel more grounded,  and to make them explore the region more. 

The goal is to give ancient stories a modern, 2025-style dark makeover suitable for ages 12 and up. Inspired by The Witcher and its roots in Eastern European folklore, these adaptations blend local "Twents" character with a healthy dose of self-mockery and dark humor. The stories should feel fresh and relevant, using themes that resonate with today’s audience.

All of these games are created and owned by students from Saxion Creative Media and Game Technologies (www.saxion.nl/cmgt) and are developed in collaboration with the Saxion XR lab.
