Make a game with a turret in it. 1 turret, 2 turrets, I really don't care. Alone or with a team. The turret(s) could be stationary, could be on a vehicle of some sort. Just have a turret, and make it shoot stuff. That is all. Don't beat yourself up if you have life responsibilities, but at the same time if you have a few hours after work, maybe use that time to jam up something interesting. Good luck!
