The Theme

Your Weakness is Your Strength

When we look at ourselves, we tend to notice the flaws. The jagged edges. We notice the things that we desperately hope that no one else will.

The problem is, that this is a problem without a solution. No amount of awareness seems to lead to a cure.

Whether we can cure our perceptions, or whether we need to think about our perceptions in that light to begin with, I challenge you to explore the concept in finding strength in those things that appear to inherently lack it.

The Challenges

Your weakness is your strength

Pick what you perceive to be your weakest point in the game development process and make that point your primary focus during the duration of the challenge.

Reflect

Use your entry to explore a facet of yourself that you can't bring yourself to love.

The Ratings

  • Theme: How well did the game fit the theme?
  • Engagement: Did it draw you in? Make you want to finish it?
  • Sound: Does the game have good/interesting sound?
  • Art: Does the game look good/interesting/strangeinagoodway?
  • Impression: Does the game stick with you after you finish playing?

What Do I Get for Winning?

There are two ways to look at this:

1: Nothing of value

2: Bragging rights, a sense of accomplishment, and a cool role on our Discord

The two are not mutually exclusive

Make of them what you will
