The trial jam is a game jam with fun, challenging, and crazy games from all different types of game developers. This game jam is made for literally ANYBODY.

There are no prizes given out in this game jam. The jam is made for fun! (There might be prizes in future game jams)


In the trial game jam, you must make a game using 1 of 3 given themes (You can use more than 1 if you want).

You can use pre-used assets from your previous games. You can also use assets from the asset stores but you have to give credit to the owners.
 You can interpret the theme(s) however you like!

  • Building

Submitting

Your game must only be played in the browser. You can submit up to 2 projects only (1 is recommended

STATE THE THEME(S) YOU USED IN YOUR GAME IN YOUR GAME'S DESCRIPTION.      If your game doesn't use at least one of the themes, you will be disqualified. Submitted games must have English as its default language


Voting

The voting period will begin the day after the submissions deadline. It will end on April 10th, 10 days after the voting period opens. 

Submitters of this game jam will be the ones voting other games. Please vote honestly.

Games will be voted on based on a given criteria: Theme, Gameplay, Creativity, Visuals, and Audio. The Overall ranking will be based on the summary of those. 


Rules

  • The game must incorporate at least one of the given themes.
  •  Participants can either work individually or in teams. Teams can have up to 50 people.
  • If using third-party assets (e.g., open-source art, music, or code), ensure proper crediting is provided.
  • The game must be playable in the browser.
  • NO PLAGIARISM! Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
  • All participants should maintain a respectful and collaborative attitude. No harassment or toxic behavior will be tolerated.
  • All games should be inclusive and avoid harmful, discriminatory, or offensive content.
  • Winners will be determined based on the highest overall ranking.
  • All work should be done within the time frame of the jam.
