Welcome to the Transformers Zine Jam! 

The theme for this event is self-indulgence. 

What does that mean? 

It means that I want you (yes, you) to make zine about Transformers that is absolutely filled with what you love! A Unicron cult pamphlet? TF OC lore? Transformers gender meta? A love letter to your favorite character? Comics? Fanfic? Sketch collections? It's all good!

But what is a zine? 

A zine - derived from magazine - is an independently- or self-published booklet, often created by a single person.  Fanzine was the early term for what we call a zine today.  The term Fanzine actually first popped up in 1940! So zines have a long history.

So what's a Jam?

A jam is a timed challenge/event where participants aim to make a finished project within the allotted time frame. Participants can work alone or with others! 

Rules:

1) This specific jam is safe for work, if you are 18+ and would like to make a nsfw zine please head over to the Valveplug Zine Jam !

2) Zines consisting of racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic or otherwise bigoted material are not welcome and will be removed.

3) For this Jam please only use material you yourself have created or have permission to use. If you are creating a meta zine then samples of official work may be used but only if you credit the original creators. Trying to pass off someone else's work as your own is forbidden and will get you removed from the jam.

4) If your zine contains any samples of official work you must have it listed as free to download with no option to pay/earn money from it.

5) This event is for participants 16 and older, please only join if you are eligible.
