Welcome to Trans Otome Jam! 

This game jam is about creating otome games with trans representation within them! It's a month long game jam that lasts for the entirty of November. For those not familiar with the genre, here's the definition for an otome for the purpose of this jam:

An otome is a romance game where the main character can be a woman and has the option to romance a male love interest.

As long as your game is within the parameters of the above definition and features a canon trans character, your game fits the jam!

Rules:

• The game submitted must be an otome game.
• The game must have a canon trans character. Non binary characters qualify. However, it must be canon to that characters identity, gender selectable characters do not count (ex: the player can choose to play as m/f/nb). Having a gender selectable MC is fine, it would just be mean that another character would need to trans!
  
• The game does not need to be a visual novel! Feel free to submit a stat raiser/rpg maker game/etc!
• Previously published games are fine, however there must be a notable update during the jam period for the game to qualify.
• No AI is allowed. This includes art/writing/coding/etc
• NSFW submissions are allowed. They just need to be tagged appropriately. 

This jam is also just for fun, and beginners are encouraged to join! If you want to see games that feature trans and/or non-binary characters, I've made a list that you can check out!(Note that non-otome amare games are included as well).
