Description

Welcome to The Game That Doesn't Exist OST Jam!

The goal of this jam is to create music for a fictional video game. You do not need to develop a game, create artwork, or write a story—just imagine a world and compose the soundtrack that brings it to life.

Whether you're an experienced composer or just starting out, everyone is welcome to participate.

You may enter solo or as part of a team.

Theme

Create music for an imaginary video game.

The setting, genre, and style are entirely up to you:

  • Fantasy
  • Sci-Fi
  • Horror
  • RPG
  • Platformer
  • Roguelike
  • Cyberpunk
  • Or anything else you can imagine

Music Categories

You may submit one track or a complete soundtrack.

1. Main Menu

The music that would play on the game's title screen or main menu.

2. Town

A theme for a town, village, hub area, or any safe location.

3. Battle

Music for regular combat encounters.

4. Boss

A theme for an important battle or final boss.

Submitting all four categories is optional. Participants are free to submit as many or as few tracks as they wish.

  • All music must be created during the jam period.
  • Solo entries and team collaborations are allowed.

Final Notes

The purpose of this jam is to challenge yourself, improve your composition skills, and share your creativity with others.

Imagine a game that does not exist—and compose the soundtrack that makes people wish it did.
