A short game jam about jam games. Join us or wither. Not actually about games with jam in or that one Bob Marley song.
Welcome to the first inaugural Jam Jam; a game jam about fixing up or finishing jam games from times gone by.
Made a great jam game but now you need to set aside dedicated time to go add some content or fix some bugs? Join Jam Jam!
Have that one jam game that you never finished but totally should and its very existence now haunts you so you need the motivation to face it again? Join Jam Jam!
Releasing a new build for a previously completed project and want to bang it out quickly with a fake deadline? Join Jam Jam!
Wanting to start a new project but realising you have like, obligations and stuff you haven't yet completed? Join Jam Jam!
But dear jam hosts, aren't there jams like this that already exist? Don't care. JOIN JAM JAM.
Yes! Despite the jokey content of the page and the amazing jam icon, this is a real jam. This page is the result of us being left unsupervised. Jam hosts Michael and Olivia will be participating too, so join us for some jam jamming!
Michael (itch/bluesky) is a visual novel dev with a passion for interactive fashion. Priding himself on reactivity and never-ending nodes, he also brings humour and an incisive look at life and politics to his games. (Michael did not write this about himself as he would die of shame, probably, idk, he feels a lot of shame.)
Olivia (itch/bluesky) is, well, me. I also make visual novels and I like to write erotic stories with heart. I love making jam games as it caters to my lowered attention span and need for ongoing validation.
Feel free to hit us up on social media or share your progress with us :)
