Your challenge: make anything you can upload to Itch within a single hour!

Inspired by the "0h Game Jam*" —that started... geez... over a decade ago?— the original idea is to make something from 2 am to 2 am, when the time falls backwards. Technically, that's an hour, but also technically it's no time at all, since you end up right where you started!

To make this more accessible to those of us who can't stay up til 2 am, people with jobs, etc., this jam runs for over a full week. That way, anyone can pick an hour and make something!

THE ONLY RULE IS THAT YOU MAKE YOUR SUBMISSION WITHIN AN HOUR. As such, it must be something new! You're welcome to take as long as you want making the Itch page, uploading it, etc. All that matters is that the submission itself is made within an hour.

Okay, there's a second rule too: no homophobic, transphobic, ableist, sexist, racist, misogynistic/misandrist, or otherwise hateful content toward any marginalized groups. If creations must punch, they should punch up, not down.

Furthermore, because this jam lasts for so long, you're welcome to make numerous things for the jam! For the ultimate challenge, mix it up: make a TTRPG in one hour, then a comic for a second, and write a poem for a third. My dream is to try to make something each day for the jam, but I also know that my manic side is active right now, and I doubt I'll make that happen 😅 

This is an unrated jam, just make stuff and be proud of yourself for making that stuff! 

*I cannot take credit for the idea of a 0h jam. I'm like 99% sure Sos Sosowski started it over a decade ago, and you can find the 2019 jam here. And PIGSquad has picked it up since, including this year. We just wanted to make it easier for people to join, whether those are people who make things other than games, or people who aren't around when the time changes. 🧡
