Welcome to the Tarot Game Jam! This jam invites you to explore the rich symbolism, eerie mystique, and emotional depth of tarot cards in interactive form. From classic Rider-Waite archetypes to your own invented decks, your game can pull from any angle — narrative, aesthetic, mechanical, or spiritual.
Whether you want to build a game about fate and free will, psychological horror, cozy witchy vibes, or use tarot cards as gameplay mechanics, you’re in the right place.
Let the deck guide you — or twist it to your will.
THERE WILL BE 2 SECRET THEMES THAT ARE HARD REQUIRED. THEY WILL BE ANNOUNCED 1 DAY BEFORE THE JAM.
RULES
Theme: Your game must incorporate tarot in some meaningful way. This could be narrative, visual, or mechanical. Don’t slap a card on the title screen and call it a day.

"They're watching me"
The Second Theme:
"Welcome to the show..."
Team Size: Solo or teams welcome.
Engine / Tools: Anything goes.
