The Table Game Jam

Welcome to our server’s very first Game Jam!!! This will be a great opportunity to get to know others in the server, have fun with your friends, and flex your developer know-how!

This will be a week long Jam from

Following the Jam, there will be a stream where each team can play and showcase their game! 

 The stream will be Sunday February 23rd @ 1pm PST!

Setup

• Figure out who you want to team up with before the start of the Jam. If you don’t know who to work with, make a post in the #game-jams channel of the server.
• Either the day before or of the Jam starting, make a thread in #game-jams with your team name where you can post updates throughout the week!
  • Additional VCs will be added to the server for people to collaborate and discuss, but also feel free to work in your own servers!

Rules

• Pre-made assets are allowed as long as you give credit to whoever made them in either your game’s description or credits.
• Pre-made code is allowed as a starting point(Ex: player movement, health system, etc.), but make sure unique code for your game is made during the Jam.
• There is no team size limit. We trust you to know if your team is too big to manage.
• Be friendly to other teams and submissions. Any harassment and bullying will not be tolerated.
• Make sure your game can be played either in browser or by Windows and Mac OS.

Submission

• Submit your game through Itch by Sunday February 23rd @ 9am
• Make sure your game can either be played in browser or include a downloadable copy for both Windows and Mac OS.
• Don’t wait till the last minute to package your game.

Voting

• After you submit your game, you can vote for submissions to be placed in different categories!
• Voting will be from 9am-3pm on Sunday February 23rd
• If a game gets the most votes in a category, everyone on that game’s team will get a 2025 Jam Nominee discord tag
• Each submission can only win 1 of each category
