For Tabletop RPGs.

An epidemic continues to keep many of us in a stark period of solitude—but from solitude we can gain new perspective. I wanted to take some time to explore the opportunities solitude presents, captured  in the form of a game. Being alone is frightening, but it also it can be peaceful, or even freeing. What do those emotions mean for us when we are inhabiting a character, or building a world?

The Solo Game Jam is designed to explore these themes, and the concept of role playing alone.

When you submit a game to the Solo Game Jam, you  will also have the option of including the game in the Solo Game Jam bundle,  from which  all proceeds will be donated to The Okra Project. Submissions are open for games you've already completed, hacks of existing games, and brand-new creations! As long as you can play it alone* - without a computer - it's welcome in our game jam!

*The games do not have to be strictly single player, but there should be at least some element of player solitude, like Adria and Fen Slattery's The Machine
