You can make a game for a retro console in this jam.

Rules

1. Retro consoles only. That means NO Windows games, NO computer (computers from 1961 - 2001 are exception) games, NO 21st century (and after) consoles, and NO 2010s Nintendo consoles. (Yes, 2000s Nintendo consoles are allowed.)
2. No mature games (If making for a Nintendo console). Mature games are only allowed in "Japanese versions", if you have one. But create the japanese version first and make sure to tone down the mature content.
3. Make it as accurate as possible to the games released on the console! The whole point of the jam is accuracy and having fun (for both the developer and the player).
4. Using tools (especially ones that make the game themselves and you use it like a game engine) are allowed! Actually, we recommend it!
5. No ROM Hacks! I would allow if i could, but the only legal way to release them is to make a patch. Sorry, bud.
6. Optional, but if you get positive feedback, make a series out of it if you can!
