Back in the early days of Far Horizons CoOp, we used to produce regular collections of short games. Sometimes writers wanted to participate but didn't have an idea straight away, so we had a bunch of random prompts that we could give out when they were needed. Some of these got used and made, for example Extreme Pizza Delivery, but most didn't!

Now we don't make those Digests anymore, so we thought we'd open the archives to YOU, and run a fun game jam in the process! Here's what we have in mind:

1. Sign up for the jam! Get your name on the list.
2. Send us a DM on Bluesky telling us your itchio username (you can also message Marx on Discord, @phophos). We'll send you a random prompt from our archive. If you don't like it, we can send you another instead!
3. Make a short ttrpg thing (game, module, etc.) responding to that prompt. Make it a prototype - no need to go whole hog on presentation, just give us the bones of your idea!
4. Submit it to the jam! If you want, we'll judge it alongside others. The one we think is the best, we'll offer to work with you to publish it through the CoOp (with our standard working practices and royalty methods).

You don't have to sign up for the judged part (also if you're a member of the CoOp you can't), but it's there on offer if you're into it!
