The Olive Jam is a nice little jam to get you to make something :D

We give you a full 10 days so you get two weekends so almost anyone will have time to participate! Now you may be wondering what's the deal with this silly little jam? What's the twist? What's the catch? Well simply put this jam is pretty simple. Just a deadline and a theme.

The theme will have to be incorporated into your game in some way. It's up to you on how you add it to your game and the theme is open to interpretation!

This could mean many things! Taking it literally you could quite literally be flipping between 2D and 3D perspectives, 1st and 3rd person perspectives, or maybe even have a character change their perspective just to give a few ideas. Have fun with it!

This may be a pretty lax jam but we still have to have a few rules just to keep things fun/fair!

• Games including NSFW content, excessive gore, excessive swearing, religious, political, or discrimitory themes will be disqualified. It's ok to have made up religions or politics in your games but let's keep things friendly and not start an internet war. :)
• There is no limit on team size! You can work alone or with a team of 100! I don't care (bigger teams are harder to manage so keep that in mind)
• You can use whatever game engine/framework you would like!
• If you are questioning whether or not it's ok to add something to your game, then just be safe and don't add it! We're trying to help each other and widen the amount of people who can make and enjoy these games :)
• ALL GAMES AND ASSETS MUST BE MADE WITHIN THE PERIOD OF THE JAM. You are allowed to use premade assets as long as you have the right to use them and they were not made for the jam specifically. It is extremely obvious when people cheat this so just don’t.
• If you use assets you did not make please credit the creators of such assets.
• Have fun! Otherwise, what's the point?
