UPDATE: Our theme was "Being Seen"

For those who are curious, the Jam is exactly what it sounds like: a Jam session for designers. The Jam is an event where you get a chance to work on a project with students from other tracks, terms and departments over the course of a weekend.

This jam will kick off on Friday, November 12^th at noon and will end on Sunday November 14^th at noon.

Each jam has an accompanying theme, and the theme of this jam will be announced on our discord server this Friday, November 12th at noon.

Come with your skills and inspiration, find a team, and work together on your take on the theme! You can choose to make a comic book, a movie, a video game, a board game, even a poem or a song if you wish. Go at on your own pace. This is an opportunity to really flex those creative muscles... for fun!

There are only two rules: stick to the theme and it must be a team work. Other than that, the sky's the limit!

Each team will have until Sunday noon, November 14^th, to submit their projects. It will be followed by a closing ceremony on Twitch where each team will present their project.

RULES

The maximum team size is 8. But we recommend teams of 4 or 5.

You can reuse existing code and assets as long as you have the rights to use them. 

Your entry must be your own original work or free online resources Your entry may not include any third party trademarks (logos, names) or copyrighted materials (music, images, video, recognizable people) unless you have obtained permission to use the materials.

Appropriate credits must be given.

Entries may NOT contain, as determined by us, in our sole and absolute discretion, any content that

• is sexually explicit, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic
• promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing) or a particular political agenda; is obscene or offensive
• defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies
• communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which we wish to associate; and/or violates any law
