Breaking the Jam is
an informal event, organized by the intakers who are going to attend the BUAS CMGT program (2023-2024). This jam is not affiliated in any way with the university. Its sole purpose is to get to know our future colleagues while experimenting with how to make a project in collaboration.

To participate, it is mandatory that you join a team (of intakers). If you need help looking for people, make sure to join our discord server. Teams will build a video game based on the theme chosen at the start, which will also be voted in the discord server.

Git, Github and version control
Version control lets you develop projects with others, by saving parts snapshots of the project at different stages, backups. Some of you did not use any version control to develop or collaborate on any projects. It is not mandatory to do so, but it is very important to learn how to use it in your game dev journey. So here are some links to get you started (I do recommend just downloading github dekstop and watching a tutorial):
