What is the Gim Jam?
The Gim Jam is an event where people make games based on a theme using a site called Gimkit Creative! These games are then submitted to this page and voted on, the top ranked games will be featured on our discord and possibly even a youtube video!
What tools can I use to create my game?
To make your game you must use Gimkit Creative, a website that allows you to create your own games!
What is the theme for this game?
This will be revealed once the Gim Jam starts!
Can I use a game that I made before the Gim Jam started?
We would prefer that you only use maps that were made during the Gim Jam, however you can choose to do otherwise.
How do I upload my game?
To upload your game, copy your publish link and put it into a text document, if you are having trouble finding your link you can ask for help here: Gimkit Creative Forum.
Where can I ask for help if my game is having issues?
Try asking for help in the Gimkit Forums: Gimkit Creative Forum or in our discord: Discord Link.
What criteria will our games be judged by?
Creativity - How original is it?
Quality - Does it function as intended?
Gameplay - Does the gameplay feel enjoyable?
Theming - How well does it relate to the theme?
Rules
- No submitting any content that might not be appropriate for all ages
- Your submission must have some relation to the theme
- You may team up with anyone you like, however only one person should submit the game, and the others be listed as your teammates in the summation.
