This game jam aims to bring the best out of Steven Universe into our own games. That may be the graphics, the sound effects & music, the positive influence or even its wittiness. Most of all, the intention of this event is to bring people together and create games as beautiful as Steven Universe (please don't use copyrighted content), while we discuss about meaningful and inclusive game design.

Theme

The theme is the short clip "You Can Make The Right Choice" from season 1, feel free to interpret however you want.

In this clip, for example, the theme would be around the keyword "Choices " or "Procrastinations", so you can interpret it as you want. Make sure to explain how you interpreted the clip in the description of your page.

Rules

• No NSFW content;
• Be kind to one another;
• You may use readymade assets, even though we encourage people to make their own assets during the jam. Either way, make sure to give credit to whoever made the assets. Also, please do not us any characters or anything copyrighted from the series Steven Universe™. Out of respect for the series, just have them as a source of inspiration.

 Jury

• All games will be played and analysed by professionals from the video game industry. 

Prize

• For the moment, we do not have any prize to offer, but I will be reaching out to people, so we may have some prize at the end. It's a surprise!
• Finishing up an awesome game is already a great prize!
