Welcome to the first Advent(ure) Calendar Jam!

The idea for this jam is to create system-agnostic scenarios, puzzles, or one-page dungeons that can be run in a single session. Only 25 entries will be selected to be included in the first ever Advent(ure) Calendar. Each entry is a standalone, system-agnostic scenario.

Theme

Rules

• Follow the theme!
• Submissions must be the sole ownership of the person/team submitting them.
• Submissions should be system-agnostic.
• No use of AI whatsoever (this includes generating maps).
• Scenarios, puzzles, and one-page dungeons must be created in the jam's time frame.
• Submissions must be viable for both solo and group play.
• No racism, homophobia, etc. depicted in content.

Judging

Each submission will be reviewed by a panel based on the following criteria:

• Originality
• Length (ideally it should be one-page, front and back allowed)
• Presentation of information
• Viability to complete in a single session

If selected, your submission will be part of a bundle that will be released on December 1, 2025 digitally by us. The bundle will be a print and play format of the calendar. It will be free, and all creators will be properly credited. All participants agree to give us permission to publish and present their work in The Advent(ure) Calendar.
