Welcome to the inaugural TFR Game Jam!

The main goal for the jam is to provide a stress-free space for everyone to exercise their creativity and work to make a small really cool game.

Please note that the jam page is unlisted, and not public. This means it doesn't appear on itch's jam page and is not searchable. Please don't share the jam page until it's over at least! If you're here and you don't know what this is - begone!

INFORMATION

• The jam will run for roughly 1.5 months, from 17th January 2025 to 28th February 2025.
• You are allowed to work in teams—please sort out your own teams in the discord thread.
• The jam is unranked/unjudged, please do not get stressed out about anything! If you're running late for the submission deadline, we can send you a link for late submission. Just focus on being creative and having fun!
• You are allowed to use non-public things you've created yourself prior to the jam. It's unranked and unjudged so there's no need to worry about creating everything from scratch during the jam window.
• Don't feel the need to work on your game throughout the whole jam window, it's a month long so as to give busy people the chance to contribute too. You can work on your game for as long or as short as you want!
• We'll be accepting late submissions until the end of February, just in case anything unexpected happens! Simply message Crayon / Figglewatts on Discord, or in the jam thread to sort this out.

RULES

Please don't break these rules. We don't wanna have to disqualify anything.

• Do not use generative AI.
• Please try to include content warnings in a visible place (itch game page/splash screen) for any content of a sensitive nature.
• Don't be a dick!
• No tax evasion (especially wriks 😡).

We really hope everyone has fun. If all goes well this will be a regular game jam for the server!
