Welcome back to another TF Game Jam once again set for November of this year! This year we've decided to include a secondary theme again, which should hopefully spark some ideas. The theme for this year is "HIDDEN". Whether it's a character trying to hide what they're becoming, a scientist trying to keep his lab a secret, or an even more abstract and yet unseen interpretation of the secondary theme we'd love to see what you reveal.
We'll be jamming for the month of November, as usual, to create games about TF, mutation, were-creatures or whatever turns into other things.
You are free to use pre-existing assets and in whatever engine, we just want to see any type of game with TF as a theme, with no limits on genre or style of game. We are looking for "TF Games", i.e. games that specifically cater to people interested in transformation.
Main theme: Transformation
Secondary theme: Hidden
The secondary theme is optional, but we encourage you to make use of it and see what gears it turns in your head.
RULES:
- Aim to be positive and constructive when giving feedback to authors.
- You can use this jam to finish and submit unfinished projects, even if you've started them earlier. You can also use this time to make a really big update to your current or previous project. The goal is more/more-complete TF games.
- NSFW/Mature content is allowed, please clearly mark your submissions as such if you submit one (there is a field for describing what it contains when submitting). You also need to tag the entry as 'adult' on the game entry page themselves.
- You may update your game after submitting it, for features, bugfixes, edits etc.
- Feel free to submit your project even if you don't finish it in time - you can still update it after the fact.
- Non-traditional games are fine - if you make a Twine or tabletop game, please submit those too!
- Games must not contain any AI-generated media (images, video, text, etc.)!
- You can use pre-existing assets to make your game, including music, art, scripts, or whatever helps your process.
- Don't 'reserve' submissions with an unfinished project with the intent to publish an update later. Please submit what you have at the end of the jam and use as much time as you can.
Let's see some TF!
Here's to another great game jam November!
