Tarot is neat and has lots of fun aspects, so let's make some games based around the tarot!

You don't have to use the most common tarot deck, the Rider-Waite-Smith deck (RWS), or one of its variants for this. You could also use Thoth decks, the Tarot of Marseilles, oracle decks, Lenormand, your own custom tarot-like deck, and so on! I'd recommend that if you don't use something fundamentally like RWS that you include a way for people to access it, of course. And as a copyright note, the original RWS deck and the other old decks are in the public domain, but art from variants and anything modern may not be, so check your copyright if you upload decks or use pictures in your files!

As a note, solo games--playing a TTRPG by oneself--work great with tarot. Ask me about more if you're curious!

Rules
Be a good human.

Your game should incorporate tarot as a central feature. How you use it is up to you, but I may reject a game if tarot feels like a minor thing slapped on. In general, if you start designing with tarot in mind and keep it as a priority, you'll be good.

This jam is only for tabletop RPGs. Don't submit video games please.  Your tabletop game can have digital tools, but if it's not playable without a computer, you may want to clear it with me first.

You can use any system or SRD that seems interesting, or make your own.

I reserve the right to remove any games, for example trolls or ones that are hateful and I don't want my name to be affiliated with. I don't anticipate that this rule will be used.

Community

I know there's a million places to talk about games. But I went ahead and made a little Discord server if anyone wants. Here's the invite link.
