In collaboration with Mahjong@UTS as well as Gamers Guild, we will be holding a Tabletop Game Jam from April 12th to 14! It will be on the concept of tabletop games! Make something akin to tabletop games (or make a tabletop video game), or go crazy with the idea and make something out there! Flex your brain muscle on the 2-day game jam, and you can win some noice prizes!
As a reminder, you are not necessarilly making a tabletop board game like a physical one. This is more or less in a thematic sense. You could make a tabletop board game video game; but you could also explore further with the themes provided! :D
The themes for this game jam are 'Around the Board' and 'Gambit'! Those are the general themes to build your game around! Judges will assess how well you represent those themes into your game!
As well, you'll be assessed on different yet important ideas such as:
- The aesthetics of the game.
- The quality of the game.
- How creative you are.
- How fun the game is!
All of this will be assessed on the in-person event on the final day, with food and drinks for everyone! Ticket or no ticket! Have fun, and best of luck to everyone! <3
