[UPDATE]

The GitHub showcase is complete! ๐ŸŽŠ

[CONCLUSION]

Y'all raised $235.30 for The Trevor Project and that makes me super happy! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ I rounded up and covered the processing fee, so The Trevor Project got $250! Thank you to everyone who participated in the jam, as well as everyone who cheered, donated, and gift-subbed on my Twitch channel. You all made this possible, and I couldn't be more proud of my community. I'll update the page again once I compile everything, so stay tuned!

Intro

Hello guys and gals and non-binary pals! Welcome to the 1st ever Supernatural Jam! I'm WerewolfDev, and it's wonderful having you here.

Let's support The Trevor Project by creating things together! Here's how it works:

  1. You submit your creation.
  2. I donate $5 to The Trevor Project (until we reach $2,000)

That's all there is to it! Of course, there's some extra goodies for you:

  1. You'll receive constructive feedback on your creation.
  2. Your creation will be showcased on Twitch, Discord, and GitHub.
  3. You'll receive the "Supernatural Dev 2020" badge on Discord and GitHub.
  4. You'll have a project with which to promote yourself.

Theme & Rules

The theme of this Supernatural Jam is... TRANSFORMATION!

Your interpretation of the theme can be as literal or metaphorical as you deem fit. In fact, the only judge of your work is yourself, since this jam isn't ranked. Inclusivity is the sole tenet of Supernatural Jam.

On that note, the rules for the jam are as follows (PLEASE READ #4.3):

  1. You can use any tools you like.
  2. You can use any assets you like (so long as you have legal permission to use them), including assets used in previous work.
  3. You can submit for any of the following platforms:
    1. Windows (10 only; sorry)
    2. MacOS (10.15 Catalina)
    3. Linux (Ubuntu/Debian-based)
    4. Web (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
    5. Mobile (iOS/Android emulator)
  4. You must take care of yourself, which means:
    1. Do not ruin your sleep schedule if you can help it.
    2. Do not forget to eat and hydrate at a healthy pace for you.
    3. Do not apologize for the quality of your creation; money will be donated regardless of how "good" or complete it is.
    4. Do not be afraid to reach out to me if anything about this jam is giving you anxiety.

And, of course: have fun!

Participation

The WerewolfDev community Discord has a temporary channel category for Supernatural Jam. It'll remain active until 7 days after the jam has concluded, after which it will be archived for posterity. Read #rules to get your "Supernatural Participant" role.

Once the jam is over, everything will be showcased in the Supernatural Jam 2020 GitHub repo! Your project link will be listed, and your itch.io profile will be linked under the "Supernatrual Dev 2020" badge, which you can promote on other platforms.

I'll be participating in this jam on my Twitch channel! All of the bits and subs this weekend (Aug 14-Aug 16) will go to The Trevor Project. Of course, you're also encouraged to donate directly!

Tweet your progress with #sjam2020! I'll be on there (@DevWerewolf) cheering you on!
