Are you a current or former student of Poly with a game you’ve created? Whether it’s a project that showcases your early work, a polished masterpiece, or something you’ve made after graduation, we want to feature it in the official GDC Arcade Cabinet! This submission page is your gateway to getting your game into our dedicated arcade, which highlights the incredible work of our students and alumni.

What is the GDC Arcade Cabinet?

The GDC Arcade Cabinet is a physical arcade cabinet that exclusively features games developed by our students and alumni. Located on campus, it’s a celebration of creativity, innovation, and growth in game development. 

Community Interaction:

We’ve enabled community features on this itch.io page to allow you to interact directly with other students and alumni. Share your thoughts, ask for feedback, and discuss each other’s games. This is your chance to connect, learn, and grow as part of the SUNY Poly game development community.

How to Submit Your Game:

1. Create or Submit Your Game: We welcome any game you’ve developed during or after your time at Poly, whether it’s a class project, a personal venture, or something in between.
2. Fill Out the Submission Form: Use the custom fields provided to share all the necessary details about your game, including the game title, developers, genre, technologies used, and more.
3. Upload Your Game: Our arcade cabinet supports only Windows executables, so please ensure your game is compatible. Also, include any relevant media (e.g., screenshots, videos) to showcase your game.
4. Submit Your Entry: Once everything is ready, submit your entry through this itch.io page.

Submission Requirements:

• Eligibility: Open to current students and alumni of Poly.
• Game Type: Any game developed during or after your time at Poly, including class projects, personal projects, or other ventures.
• Platform Compatibility: Your game must be a Windows executable.
• Media: Include at least one screenshot or video to showcase your game.
• Contact Information: Provide your contact info so we can reach out if needed.
