INIT FIU is hosting a 24-hour game jam open to developers of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned dev or picking up a game engine for the first time, you're welcome here! Compete in-person at FIU or join remotely from anywhere in the world. (ET Timezone)

You and/or your team will have exactly 24 hours to design, build, and submit a game based on the theme and categories, which will be revealed at 4 PM on Saturday, July 18.

Can't make it in person? You can still compete! Submit your game by 6 PM on Sunday, July 19 to be eligible for our online categories. Prizes not included for online submissions.

Challenges and theme will be revealed during the opening ceremony on July 18 at 4 PM. Be sure to tune in! We will also update this section once they are revealed.

We recommend parking in Parking Garage 6, where check-in and the opening and closing ceremonies will take place. Non-FIU students should park in metered campus spots and pay using PayByPhone.

Discord is where SunJam attendees, organizers, and sponsors can communicate via text, voice, and video. Participants will receive a link to join the Discord upon acceptance after registration. Register here Full Suite

You will be able to find teammates, ask questions, and discuss all things SunJam.

SunJam will take place in-person at Florida International University’s Modesto Maidique Campus as well as online.

In-person: Opening ceremony, demos, and closing ceremony will be hosted in PG6-116, inside the first floor of Parking Garage 6.

Online: Opening and closing ceremonies will be streamed on our Discord server.
