What is SUMMER JAMS Jam?
SUMMER JAMS Jam is a Game Jam where participants create a rhythm game or rhythm based game using only the music provided for the jam (fantastically composed and provided by Jake Currier). How do we define "rhythm game" though? A rhythm game is a game where events in game happen to the beat of the music being played. This could mean movement, visuals, enemy spawns, update events, anything you can think of. If you're at all unsure about the rules, they are super flexible so just tweet me @CarsonKompon and I'll let you know!
Restrictions
- The game has to be a "rhythm game" (See definition above)
- The songs used in your game must be selected from the songs provided by us (Feel free to use as many as you want)
- You give credit to Jake Currier somewhere in your game (Such as the main menu)
Music Downloads
All of these tracks are composed and provided by Jake Currier, so go show him some love <3
If you wish to modify the songs (remix, speed up, slow down, ect.) you can, but you must specify.
