The Suez Canal Jam is a remembrance of the anniversary of the Ever Given jamming the Suez Canal from March 23-29, 2021. This is a casual jam, just make any type of game inspired in some way by The Incident.

Why the odd start and end times? The jam time lines up exactly with the anniversary of the jamming and unjamming of the canal for the most immersive canal game jam experience. It really makes you feel like the Suez Canal.

Rules:

• Make a game inspired by the jamming of the Suez Canal, however strictly or loosely that inspiration is. Have fun with it!
• Any engine
• Any team size (including solo)
• Premade assets can be used if you have the legal right to use them
• Games that are spammed to many jams without consideration for theme will be removed
• If your game has NSFW content, you must mention it in the game description or in the game itself
• No hate speech etc
