This is an online game jam to explore game design.
This is a game jam for learning how to ask the right questions.

If you see games as systems that teach skills and interactions through repetition, then most if not all games either teach very rudimentary skills like timing or trajectories, or overly focus on teaching things in ways that do not cater to the strength of the medium, e.g. blandly presenting you with information to read or by disregarding a proper dressing that could give the experience meaning and excitement.
So, moving forward, we want to make baby steps towards a new generation of games, and learn how to ask the right questions to make them fun and growth-promoting.

--- THEME : LEADERSHIP ---
The theme this time revolves all around leading people.
The bonus questions that might help you think and will take a role in the evaluation for the submissions are:

- What kind of game does someone need to play to learn what it means to lead others?
- What kind of game would someone want to play that can teach this?
- What would an experience look like, that causes someone to remember it in a relevant situation?
- How does the game systematically reinforce the topic to grant someone the appropriate awareness?
- How would a better leader already be better at the game?

Unlike regular game jams, the submissions will not only be judged by how well they use the topic, but rather by how well they adhere to the spirit of these questions and the idea of truly changing the player.

That said, all kinds of submissions are welcome!
This is also an organizational experiment, and I am well invested in seeing how much exchange can be generated for the topic, and for that, in general, bigger is better.
So much so that we will introduce a 50$ PRIZE POOL for the first 3 placements if we reach a minimum of 30 submissions!
Voting will be open to everyone, but serve as a pointer for the final evaluation, which will be announced on July 28th!
