GJS's First Game Jam!

About

This is the Stanford OHS Game Jam Society's first game jam! 

The theme is Roles Reversed, the same theme as the famous GMTK Game Jam of 2023. This first Jam will be very chill, no pressure at all to succeed. There will be no prize pool, as the Student Life Overlords deemed it fit to cut our funding. However, for future Jams I will pay $100 to the winner out of my own pocket, so think of this as practice if you're just here for money!

Rules

• Teams are permitted, as long as you let me know ahead of time what your team is.
• Royalty free visual assets are allowed and recommended.
• We have many musicians in our society! If you don't have music, ask one of them. If you must, you can use royalty free music / SFX, but it may get points deducted.
• If you use Royalty free assets, including music, you must credit the original artist either in the game or in the description.
• AI and forums like stack overflow are allowed when writing code.

Examples

I chose an existing theme so you all can look at past entries. If you rip off a GMTK entry, you will be disqualified! However, you can gather inspiration from the concepts behind the GMTK game jam entries through devlogs of which there are many on youtube for that particular Game Jam. Try to choose an original concept! That will be one of the scoring criteria.
