For Pride month this June, Squiggly River is running Pride Jam!

The Jam:

The theme is Pride, but how you use this theme is up to you! This is our first game jam so we encourage you to join in and make something small. Here are a couple of ways that you could approach this theme:

• Include LGBTQIA+ themes or characters
• Make something about your own experiences
• Be LGBTQIA+ and just make anything!

You can stay in contact, get feedback and help from others and chat about the jam in our Discord!

The Wrap Up Event:

The game jam will wrap up with an event on June 30th! This will give us a chance to catch up and play all of the jam games. Keep an eye out on our Twitter or Discord for the event details 👀

FAQ:

Do I need to be in Brisbane?
Nope! You can submit your game from wherever and we will bring it to the wrap-up event. 

I just made a game that would suit this. Can I submit it?
Absolutely!

I am not LGBTQIA+. Can I participate?
We actively work towards a safe, encouraging and inclusive community for people to share, discuss, learn and work on their projects. While this jam is open for anyone to participate, we aim to amplify the voices of LGBTQIA+ creators during this month. If you are not one of these voices, consider providing assistance, feedback and encourage to the other participants instead of participating yourself.
