Who can participate? Anyone can. You can work solo or in a group.

Is there a theme? Yes there is. It's Spine-Chilling and Spooky.

What is the signature prompt? It's something to help get those creative juices flowing. You can either revolve your game around this prompt, or subtly incorporate it with your game. This prompt will also let everyone know you've participated during the event.

Does my game have to be made in a certain game engine? No. You can use any method you like. As long as it's launchable in a browser, on a Windows computer or Quest headset. examples: Unity, Unreal, Gadot, Twine.

Is there a dedicated Discord to join? There isn't a dedicated Discord channel, but  I've added a game jam channel to the Unnatural Freaks Studio Discord Channel.  You can join here. Otherwise you and your team can also create you own.

I'm new to making games, will there be any help? This Game Jam is about sharing our passions. There'll be people on the Discord server to help out if you get stuck. Alternatively you could join/form a team. If you get super stuck, there are great game making tools that a super simple to use. They will be linked in the Discord server.

I have an amazing idea but don't know what I'm doing or know any game developers? You can try and join/form a team. Alternatively, you could try a simpler game making tool to help build a prototype that you could expand upon later. Twine is a super easy way to start. There's also a Unity tutorial called 'Roll-A-Ball' that takes you through the basics.
