Theme - Catching a Film in the City Center

The 9-screen Cineworld multiplex theatre is where you can catch the latest blockbusters in generous sized and comfortable leather seats. It’s a great place to head out to if you’re after a chilled evening,either before or after fuelling up at any of the quality chain restaurants - including Chiquito, Burger Priest, Nando's and Bon Pan Asian, also located at The Hive, an outdoor leisure complex which is part of the wider The Potteries Centre.

What kind of games are you looking for?

We’re looking for digital games to be created that will be uploaded to Itch.io and ideally playable via smartphones using HTML. We've got a pack for Jammers with details all of the different game engines that you could use for this. We also want to make sure this GamesJam is as open as possible so we're happy if you want to make a game that's only playable on PCs too.

Who will see my game?

Anyone! Since the games will be accessible via QR codes in the city centre, you can expect shoppers, diners, city centre workers and residents, families and anyone with a smartphone to be able to play. We’d love Jammers to encourage their friends and family to come along and play too.
