About Soft Jam:

Soft Jam is a celebration of all things that make game development fun. This game jam invites creators of all levels to come together and make any type of game they like as long as they put a smile on someone's face :)

All games submitted in the soft jam are going to be played live if you want to, feedback is always good!

Theme:

The theme is RAGE!!!

Prizes:

While Soft Jam is primarily about having a good time and exploring the world of game development, we do have some sweet little prizes for the ones who manage to shine. there are only two prizes they are for the Overall Public winner and for the Overall Jury winner. 

The Prizes are nothing big, but they will be a surprise ;)

Voting:

Voting is divided in Public voting and Jury Voting. And it's going to be voted following this criteria

Gameplay:

This criteria is based on how fun the game is. Also considering if the game has good core mechanics while also offering a fun challenge and a good experience

Art:

This one is based on how good a game looks and is how it is presented.

Sound Design:

This criteria takes in consideration, how well sound and music fit in a game.

Theme:

this criteria is one of the most important because it is based on how well a game fit with the theme

Softness:

This criteria is one of our personal additions, it is based on how smooth a game is. when i say smooth i refer to how enjoyable and easy to understand your game is, an exemple of this can be a built in tutorial.

Rules:

1.  Be respectful and considerate towards your fellow jammers. Harassment or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Dont fake votes, if we suspect that a submission is recieving fake votes, we will remove it.
3. You are free to use existing assets or create your own. Just be sure to respect copyright and licensing rules.
4. No NSFW (who does it knows it)
5. GAME MUST BE FREE!!!
6. You can't submit your game to other jams (if you want to win prizes), only ours
7. Any game that is an obvious copy of another game will be sent to the shadow realm!!!
