Here is a work of art showing snowflakes after they were examined under a microscope. I’m sure by now you have heard how every snowflake is unique and a work of art. For this jam, let’s make some lyric games inspired by snowflakes. Pick one of the snowflakes in the art work, and based on the vibes of it, make a short lyric game fitting one to two a5 page. So it’s small, manageable and fun to make. And also so that it’s possible to potentially take all the games made from this, and compile whoever wants games into a zine to share as a really cool physical art object.
That’s a good question. Who knows? They are poetic games, experimental works of art that combine ttrpgs, poetry, and any other cool art form you can think of. They are like the art-house films of the game space, the uncomics, and the experimental art of this world. The cool thing about lyric games is that there are as many definitions of what a lyric game is as there are designers making lyric games.
