Smol Jam is all about creating a smol game. It’s a super casual jam and open to all experience levels! Very low commitment, develop at your own pace!
What does "smol" mean?
In this case, smol means small. For this jam, all that's required is that your game must be smol. This could mean your game has a smol screen, a smol hero, a smol army, stuff like that. Keep in mind that being smol doesn't have to mean lacking in content!
Rules
- Games must be made with less than 72 hours of collective dev time. This means you can start and stop to take breaks during development.
- You can use existing assets or create your own. If you use existing assets, you must credit the creator(s) appropriately.
- All submissions must have a free version that can be played by other participants.
- All submissions for the jam must be stream-friendly, this means no NSFW of any kind, so that your games can be shared for others to see.

A: I'll showcase the submissions over on my Twitch channel where myself and viewers can see the games.

A: Yes, you can work solo or with a group. If you're submitting as a group, please designate only one account to submit the game.

A: As a submission, no AI art is allowed.
Q: Can I continue developing my game after the jam?
A: Absolutely! You retain all rights associated with your submissions as long as you are the rightful owner.
Q: What platform(s) should I build my game for?
A: You can build for your platform of choice! Keep in mind that building a game for web and Windows will allow your game to be played and shared more easily.

A: Nothing but the satisfaction of making a brand new world for others to explore!
