This jam compiles the completed projects from the SMASH transformational games elective.
(Updated as we go through the class)
In this elective, students will learn the basics of narrative game design and transformational games. Transformational games (aka educational games, games for change) are designed to change the player on purpose - by teaching them something new, influencing how they make decisions, changing their attitudes, etc. In the elective we will teach and use Twine - an free open-source online game design tool for making story games (aka interactive fiction, choose-your-own adventure) to make a transformational game.
This year’s theme is ecological justice!
