The Small Scope Jam is all about one thing: actually finishing your game.
Most game jam projects fail or end up unpolished because of Scope Creep — wanting to add too many mechanics, levels, and features in a limited time. This jam is designed to break that habit.
Instead of building a massive game, your goal is to take one core mechanic, strip away all the unnecessary bloat, and polish a complete micro-experience to perfection.
Create a small-scope game. Keep the idea simple and achievable.
Start developing after the jam begins.
No full AI-generated code, art, music, or other assets.
Any engine or programming language is allowed.
Solo developers and teams are welcome.
Your game must be submitted before the deadline.
Browser builds are recommended but not required.
Be respectful to other participants.
